The
annual meeting of the membership will be held:


 


Saturday, March 24, 2018, 10:00 a.m.
The Lakes at Cedar
Grove Clubhouse
7900 Stillmist Drive
Fairburn,
GA 30213

This letter serves as notice of the annual
meeting of the members of The Lakes at Cedar Grove Neighborhood Association,
Inc. (the ‘Association’) pursuant to Article II, Membership: Meetings, Quorum,
Voting, Proxies Section 2.5 Notice of Meetings of the By-Laws of the The Lakes
at Cedar Grove Neighborhood Association, Inc.

The purpose of the meeting is to provide
members with an annual community update and elect five (5) Board of Directors.


The most productive Annual meetings occur
with questions submitted prior to the meeting. Please submit your Annual
Meeting questions to Pam Cumberlander, HOA Manager, per the contact information
below on or before Thursday, March 22, 2018. The Annual meeting agenda will be
posted on our website, prior to our meeting. 


Candidate Submission

If you are interested in running for the Board of Directors please complete the candidate information form included
in this mailing and send your information to
 pcumberlander@associationmgtpros.com or to the address on
the following page.
Candidate information will be posted on
our website no later than March 20, 2018.  
Nomination of candidates will be accepted
from the floor at the Annual Meeting and
write-in
candidates are also allowed on all
ballots submitted.


The
ideal Candidates- will possess the following attributes: • Must have
volunteered at some level in the community • Must not have any conflict of
interest • Must be a team player • Must be able to work well with others • Must
have good communication skills • Must be able to provide volunteer hours for
the community•Must be honest and have integrity• Should be willing to attend HOA Leadership training and educate oneself. 
Should be
willing to be a voice for the community and • Must be able to support the will
of the majority of  the board.


In addition, you will need to know the duties of the
Board as stated in the Bylaws, Article III C 3.17(a) to (n).

Clubhouse (7900 Stillmist)
